The Nissan Skyline GT-R is a sports car based on the Nissan Skyline range. The original Skyline GT-R ran from 1969 to 1973, it was later revived and ran between 1989 to 2002. It was replaced with the Nissan GT-R in 2007.
BNR32[]
The third generation of the Skyline GT-R was known as the BNR32, or simply the R32. It was the first generation of the revived GT-R range, and was designed to succeed in Group A racing. It was produced from 1989 to 1994.

- Eikichi Shimamura owns a White Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II R32, which he uses as leader of the Hakone Thunder Soldiers.
- Rin Hojo owns a Gun Gray Metallic Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II R32, which he uses as Kanagawa's Grim Reaper.
- Kozo Hoshino owned two GT-R R32s before he bought his R34 Nür.
BCNR33[]
An R33 GT-R in the live-action movie
The fourth generation of the Skyline GT-R was known as the BNR33, or simply the R33. It was the second generation of the revived GT-R range. It was produced from 1995 to 1998.
No R33s are shown in the Initial D series. However, it did appear briefly as a traffic car in the 2005 live-action movie. Kozo Hoshino states that he had previously owned one, and that he was unsatisfied with it, replacing it with an R32.
BNR34[]
The fifth and final generation of the Skyline GT-R was known as the BNR34, or simply as the R34. It was produced from 1999 to 2002. It was the last generation of the Skyline GT-R before it was eventually succeeded by the Nissan GT-R in 2007.
